Wine Estates & Vineyards
Roussillon
The rhythm of Catalonia and its traditions run through the Roussillon region. This wine growing area —one of the most southerly in France— skirts the Mediterranean Sea and the sublime coves of the Côte Vermeille before reaching the foothills of the Pyrenees and Corbières. Alongside its dry wines, Roussillon continues a tradition of making some of the most renowned natural sweet wines in the world.
Maison Cazes invites you on a journey that unites land, sea, innovation and tradition at the heart of Catalan tradition.
Cazes
A historical landmark among Roussillon wines, Maison Cazes has farmed its vineyards organically and with biodynamic methods for 25 years. A winegrowing property since 1895, Maison Cazes is reputed for the quality of its natural sweet wines and its grands vins from the exceptional terroirs of Roussillon, including Agly (Domaine Cazes), Aspres (Domaine du Grand Chêne), Canet-en-Roussillon (Mas Latour Lavail), or the famous Clos de Paulilles, a superb 90-hectare property in the Collioure and Banyuls appellations.
Maison Cazes is also a focal point of Catalan tourism in the area thanks to the warm welcome given to visitors. The estate has two restaurants: La Table d’Aimé in Rivesaltes, and the Restaurant des Clos de Paulilles in Port-Vendres, as well as an upscale bed and breakfast (Le Mas Latour Lavail) and three wine boutiques that offer a friendly and educational setting in which to discover its great wines.
